10-7 Week #9
19-8 This season.

5 star: 0-0
4 star: 6-0
3 star: 5-5
2 star: 7-2
1 star: 1-1

10-7 for the week. Not the best week in the world. May have my first 5 star play of the season this week.

My first 5 STAR Play this season....

Ravens -2.5 *****

There is no way Quincy Carter will lead the Jets to a victory against the Ravens defense this week. Curtis Martin will have a very hard time rushing the ball against Ray Lewis and gang. Jamal Lewis should be in peak form for this game. His timing should be back. I do not see the Jets scoring an offensive TD in this one. Give me the Ravens for the Max.

Madcapper, I think they are down to -1 because the Ravens simply aren't that good.

delmo,

I agree. But I like them in ths spot against the Jets without Pennington. I think they win this game. But the steam is the other way. I would love to hear what Mach has to say.

Also, I see that Mach is an amazing 6-0 with his 4 Star Plays. Ironically I would probably be more confident in the Ravens this weekend if it was just a 4 star play and not his first 5 star play of the season.

Mach, you alive? I would love to hear some feedback on the line move against your Ravens play.

Sorry i just got in Capper. To tell you the truth I am surpised that this line steamed the other way. I thought that by this weekend it would be Ravens -3.5. Nevertheless I still feel the Ravens win this game by at least a FG. I think they win by a TD as I don't see the Jets offense scoring a touchdown. The line move scares me but I still have confidence that the Ravens will find a way to win in New York.

Texans???

Mach,

I followed your MNF pick with INDY at the half. I also thought that this would be a great play with INDY first half at home -4.5 ??Wondering why you would go the other way....

Because I really believe the Titans have a better defense than Minnesota and I think they can also put up some points against Indianapolis. If Minnesota had Moss I would have never played Indi.

Thanx for the reply. Its just that the steam the other way is scaring me a bit.

Personally I think the Jets have a great chance of winning this game. It is not as though Carter is making his NFL debut. He did win 10 games last year.

Delmo,

Well I dont know about that. Now I am leaning towards the Jets. Especially with this move from 2.5 to 1. And Jets are home. I am still waiting until game time. It is his 5 star play and he is 6-0 on 4 stars...so I am a bit skeptical.

Extreme overreaction in the line. J-E-T-S were going to be 3 to 4 pt favorites with Pennington. They became 2 - 2.5 dogs without him????? Now they are just adjusting to the extreme overreaction. One of the most profitable situations in NFL betting is to bet on the team that loses it's QB in the 1st game without him, for precisely that overreaction reason. And Quincy Carter isn't a bum.
